Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium , Raipur, popularly known as the new Raipur International Cricket Stadium, is a cricket stadium in the Indian city of New Raipur. India’s 50th international cricket venue is the Cricket Stadium. The stadium’s construction was finished in 2008. The Chhattisgarh government built and owns it. Raipur is well connected by Rail, Air and  Road networks with rest of India. Stadium situated near Airport, area sector-3, in Naya(new) Raipur. The first International cricket match played here was a One-Day International (ODI) between Indian Cricket Team and New Zealand in 2023, which India won. This cricket stadium is used for both domestic and international matches. The stadium is named after Veer Narayan Singh Binjhwar,  a Sonakhan landlord who led the 1857 war for Indian independence in Chhattisgarh. It is India’s third largest cricket venue. The stadium has 65,000 capacity.

1-First One-Day International (ODI) , Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket stadium

The first International Standard cricket match was played on November 21, 2010 between the Canada national cricket team and the Chhattisgarh cricket team.

2-Hosting of World Road Safety Tournaments

This stadium held Road Safety World competitions from 2020 to 21 but the tournament was postponed after only four matches because to a Covid lockdown in India. Five matches were contested in the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium Raipur in 2022, including two league matches, two semifinals, and the final.
